I-4 A Sponsor for All About Animals Rescue Run

I-4 was a proud sponsor of the 2016 All About Animals Rescue 5K, 10K and Fun Run. All About Animals is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter in Macon, Georgia, and proceeds from the race are used to help with operating costs for the organization. The race kicked off at 8 a.m. Saturday, May 7 from Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Macon. I-4 President Ann Kane said she was proud to have I-4 participating in an event that helps with such a worthwhile cause – one that, because she is a “mom” to rescued dogs, holds a special appeal to her. Ann, along with marketing manager Shea Wilkinson and business development manager Brad Wilkinson, also ran in the 5K race that morning.

I-4 Cyber Specialist Shaves Head for St. Baldrick’s Foundation

Don Robinson, a cyber specialist with I-4, has been shaving his head for the last three years to show support for children with cancer. “I wanted to help raise money and awareness of childhood cancer,” Don said. “Then last year, my sons Brennan and Kaden wanted to join me in support of their friend Maddie who sadly lost her fifth battle with cancer earlier this year.” The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-powered charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long, healthy lives. Don and his wife Marcie are hoping to raise more than $5000 this year for the foundation before he and their boys shave their heads June 4. If they reach that goal, Marcie has agreed to shave her head as well. To donate or to learn more about the foundation, please visit Don and Marcie’s page at https://stbaldricks.org/teams/mypage/108388/2016 or the St. Baldrick’s website at www.stbaldricks.org.
